Budget Submissions

The student org budget request form for 2010-11 is attached. However, the final deadline will actually be at NOON on Sept. 1. To receive full consideration the form must be completed (with required documents attached) and placed in Box ­­­­505 by 12PM, Wednesday, September 1, 2010 to be eligible for funding.


Student orgs must submit an @hamlinesba.com email address with their budget request. This address will be used for all official communications with student orgs after Sept 1.


Student orgs must attend Fall Orientation Table Days for full funding consideration. (Don't forget Table Days this Thurs. Aug. 26 from 11-1!)


Before receiving their actual checks, each student org must submit a file of materials to display on the stairwell landing board including a photo (approx. 5" by 7" printout recommended). A photo must also be emailed to repatlarge@hamlinesba.com prior to receiving student org checks. These materials may also be used in the monthly SBA newsletter The Note (This file and student org photos can be updated with the Rep-at-Large throughout the year.)

The Ways and Means Committee will hold two public meetings at times TBA (probably sometime between 9/2 and 9/7).  At these meetings, the committee will consider and decide on the funding allocations for each student group for the 2010-2011 academic year. As usual, more information will follow.


All of these dates are derived to comply with SBA Constitutional notice requirements pertaining to the fall election, the General Assembly required before the election, the Ways & Means Committee public meetings that occur before the General Assembly (i.e., we must collect budgets this soon to comply with the constitution and in order to have a shot at getting checks out to groups by early October.
